Talha Khan joined AUC | Law as an Associate in June 2023 and now serves as a Senior Associate. Talha plays an integral role in advising on and executing complex investment and commercial transactions, particularly those with cross-border elements. He advises a diverse clientele across a wide range of industries, with notable experience in technology, telecommunications, media, logistics, digital banking, education, agriculture, automotive and electric mobility, public procurement, and digital services. Talha has been actively involved in structuring and advising on government and public sector initiatives, including electric vehicle (EV) bus projects. He has also assisted clients in establishing sports leagues, providing YouTube optimization and monetization services to creators through a Multi-Channel Network (MCN) under YouTube’s affiliate and content management system, managing bank identification number (BIN) sponsorships, issuing corporate expense cards, and delivering integrated digital solutions under the licensing framework of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Moreover, he has guided clients on the legal and regulatory landscape for digital assets and associated businesses in Pakistan, in compliance with the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA). His practice encompasses complex transactional and advisory matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate and legal restructuring, public sector transactions, financial and capital markets transactions (including foreign exchange of securities and capital enhancement), regulatory compliance and corporate governance, intellectual property, data protection, and high-value negotiations. Talha’s global reach includes engagement with regulatory authorities such as the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), State Bank of Pakistan, Competition Commission of Pakistan, the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority of Singapore (ACRA), and others across jurisdictions, enabling him to effectively navigate complex cross-border frameworks. Known for his sharp legal acumen and meticulous approach, Talha has been instrumental in delivering practical, commercially sound solutions for clients. He continues to contribute meaningfully to the firm’s reputation for high-quality legal services. He holds an LL.B. (Hons.) from the University of London International Programme.
